Ask a Nerd

Rather than google-ize my problems like normal, I thought I’d take advantage of the monocle’s nerd bench strength and ask a fairly ridiculous question.

Let’s assume I’m going to buy a PS3 and use it as a media centre. Let’s also assume I already have an old modded Xbox filled with hundreds of gigs of radness. Can I hook up the Xbox to my wireless router and stream from it the PS3 the same way I would any other computer? Read the rest of this entry »

Should we do it?

I got a phone call out of the blue the other day. I almost hung up on the person, seemed awfully like a telemarketing call. **long pause** “Is this so and so?”

Turns out it’s was a girl from film company who wants to feature our condo on a design program. They had my name on file from a previous show I was interviewed for – and apparently they think that my husband and I, in addition to our condo, would be a good match for their new show.
